New in GRAFIS 26

Product info

It’s what many of you have been asking for, and it’s finally here! With GRAFIS product information, all details relating to a style can be managed centrally in one place. Enter data into predefined fields, add images such as sketches, fabric samples or logos, and include your own notes. The forms can be customised, printed out and reused, for example in tech packs.

Info Centre Window

In the Info Centre dialogue box, you will find details of the GRAFIS version, the licence number and other relevant information. You can also initiate updates and manage licences here. The dialogue box can be opened via the Help menu item in the menu bar.

New colour options

The programme interface now offers three additional colour shades. Together with the existing light and dark versions, this gives you a choice of five shades – from white to black, including various shades of grey. This allows the surface to be adapted even more precisely to your specific working conditions.

Improved list of forms

The list of forms is now cached, so that the list loads much faster after the first time it is called up.

There is a refresh button in the top right-hand corner.

To delete shapes from the list, you can use the delete key

When copying (to the clipboard), the file extension is checked. In addition, a more detailed check is carried out to ensure that the form matches its version number.

You can now also drag and drop shapes from File Explorer into the shapes list.

Additional feature in the Visibility Dock

The Visibility Dock is being enhanced with a feature that allows you to lock the selection of the displayed sizes. For example, after grading, the visible sizes are displayed again in the same selection.

New and updated tools

Tool Coordinated Velcro strips

GRAFIS 26 now includes a new tool that works in conjunction with the line Velcro. This allows fasteners to be designed either as fold-over or loop-and-hook Velcro fasteners. Define up to 15 bands and use the wide range of settings to configure the tool to suit your needs.

New interactive tool Manipulate curve

The tool Manipulate curve is now interactive! It is available in two variations: Curve with hook in and manipulate curves

Copy or move existing curves with just a few clicks, and optionally adjust the curve’s gradient or direction.

There are three options for constructing the basis direction:

Constructed in the base direction
Base direction at the start and end of the hooked curve
Direction of the baseline at the start and end of the selected curve

New Tool T-corner

Since the release of GRAFIS 25, the t-corner has been added. It can be used to create a wide variety of edge designs. Like the other GRAFIS corners, this version can be arranged flexibly and even used in a coordinated manner.

Extended option in parallel

An option has been added to the parallel.

Option line end

With this option, an additional distance can be set at the line ends of the parallels. The second variation activates the relevant drag points at the end of the parallels.

In the area Change in length, the line can be extended or shortened at these drag points.

Revised basic sleeve constructions

In the constructions sleeve 10, 20, 70 and 80, the drag limits have been extended to allow for even more flexible sleeve adjustments.

  • Extension of drag limits:

  • Adjusting the width of the sleeve head and hem, shaping the underarm seam and hem curve.

Sleeve 10, particularly, has been optimised for a two-seam sleeve variant.

Update button

In Sleeve 10, the new hem curve construction logic can be activated using the Update button. The button only appears when an older sleeve pattern with darts is loaded.

The new logic is automatically activated when the sleeve is reloaded.
